For the real photographers on the board, all the B&W photos were taken using an Olympus om10, my first SLR, still have it and a canon.
Glad you liked the photos, means I
didnt waste my time
Bye for now, norrie

Norrie,
just had the chance to look at these photos. Great stuff, worked in both Govan and Yarrows a few years before these pics were taken. Never got to see the grand entrance at Govan or the posh offices . . . I was a lowly apprentice.
Still got to enjoy many a launch, my fave being H.M.S. Cornwall launched by the then Duchess of Cornwall, Diana. Magic stuff.
Cheers again! _________________ Any pickled eggs? |

Hi desginerdave, glad to have brought back some memories and opened the doors to the offices at Govan
The Offices are not used by the shipbuilders and lay derilict for a few years but they are being modernised for use by the local community, or is it for business's, no matter, they will be put to use.
Bye for now, norrie
