Hi all. Myself and a couple of friends went away for the weekend in the car, travelling to various railway stations / depots along the way to do some railway photography. It was a fantastic weekend, one that will not be forgotten for memories and the hot weather and not forgetting, the fantastic and luck in terms of the photographs we were able to get captured on the camera and the access to some specific locations. All photographs and full information can be found in the links below. Locations on Saturday 17th Oct include Carlisle, Carnforth, Warrington Bank Quay, Warrington Arpley Sidings, Crewe station, Crewe C.S., Crewe E.M.D. and Derby. Locatons on Sunday 18th Oct include Cheddesden Yard (Fastline Depot), Toton (accesss granted), Doncaster, Wensleydale Railway and Carlisle.

Carlisle:

Carnforth:

Crewe:

The steam ones were a hard one to capture at that location. Not enough light and not enough steadiness on the fence post and I had to hold the cam down aswell. Just aswell I have a steady hand:):). Cheers for the feedback though Fastnet, glad you enjoyed the collection;)

Best Regards

Great set,Jonno.
Just a pity you didn't get a 3/4 side shot of the 2-tone green 47.Its only just dawned on me that cl.58's are 25 years old!
Got pics of inside Crewe works from the 1987 open day and some from an enthusiasts visit a year or so earlier.

Cheers Doug Doug. If you can, try and post these pics of yours. Would be good to see a past present type theme:). If any of you are interested in doing a long weekend of travelling around Britains railway system in around 6 months time please get in touch with myself because me and the three other close friends I was with are wanting to make this a regular thing. Good banter, good contacts (for getting access to certains places), good laugh and good memories - its a must:). Please get in touch peeps:)

Best Regards
