Oh and Hi,  new member here, I spent the first 19 years of my life growing up in preisthill and also spent a lot of time in south nitshill at my grans. (late 70's through to  early 90's)
I've just spent an enjoyable few hours going through both Nitshill threads, great work folks

Hi Evenstar and welcome to Urban Glasgow.

Hopefully you will be able to provide us with some details of how the area was when you were growing up. If you have any photos it would be good to see them.

Unfortunatly i lost quite a few photos moving over the years, which I am extremly disapointted about especially the set i took of the water tower.

I might have a couple of randoms kicking about somewere  that I'll find eventually.
I can definatly tell a few tails....

Hi everyone, been lurking around the site for a while now, thought I should really join in properly. I'm glad that I'm not alone in what I thought were quite unusual interests before I found this place

Once I get organised with Flickkr (sp?) I'll load up a few photos, I'm not used to forums which you can't load photos through directly so need to get with it.

Great site everyone
