Excellent pics kev.
I thought it might've been on the main road and the grotty pub I mentioned was
the Glenbar, visible here. The tiling on the wall survived until about the mid 1980s
when it either removed or painted over. I'll try and get a present shot of that.

That looks terrible. As I said, I remember it when it looked the way
in the old picture.

I think it's turned into one of those classic Glasgow-style concrete-box 'bear-pit' pubs. Reminds me of a mini Comet on Bilsland Drive.
I used to live in Roystonhill and remember it looking much better too. _________________ Oh no, said Thomas, I sound like an out of work Beatle |

Offices of Alexander Stephens Linthouse shipyard on Holmfauldhead rd
Building is still being used though the yard is long gone..it was demolished in the early eighties
Holmfauldhead road from Govan rd
And today
Govan ferry with Middleton shipyard shed behind
today the site of the plating shed has a showpeople camp on it
Middleton yard from the north bank..2 views
Quite an impressive building
Not a trace of it today

Nice work. I like the ferry terminal one. It's in stark contrast to the painted showcase ones down at Finnieston _________________ Now coming at you with 95% more significance, 1% less salt and virtually fat free!
