Went to the BB in that hall...
My baby sister was christened in the church that used to stand there.
Such changes...
I remember most of the shops too including the chinese restaurant run by Suzie Wong...
Thought that it had to be a made up name later in life till i was told that was her real name and she had came to glasgow in the 1950's
The laundrette was a place we got dragged on a Saturday then there was Toni's great ice cream and probably the first place i had a shot of a video game.
jesus i am feeling old now

There is a picture of church without a name-it is obviously no longer used as a church-do you have any other information or where/who took this photo as I think I may be able to identify it. Also would it be possible to have a copy of this photo sent by email. Thank you

Generally as a rule the poster of images is the person who owns them.
Perhaps if you gave us slightly more of a clue which image you are speaking about we may be able to help you further.

P.S
Welcome To Urban Glasgow.

Hi

Sorry-it is the disused Church on the corner of Hotspur St. It was called East Park Parish Church of Scotland. My father was one of the ministers there and I was christened there in 1963 and this was the reason, I wished a copy as I only have a picture of the inside of this Church.
