Sandbank St at Maryhill Rd, from the canal. The buildings are still there, including the Orange Hall at the top of the road (it featured in Just Another Saturday), but the view is now obscured by trees. June 1976

F&C Canal at Maryhill. The canal was more or less derelict at this time, but a few diehard enthusiasts put on a festival. This horse-drawn (but outboard-assisted) barge had that home-made look. October 1975

F&C south of Firhill basin, the remains of one of the safety gates built during WW2 to isolate sections of the canal in the event of bomb damage, so limiting the potential for flooding if a bank was breached. May 1975
