Cracking find. I suppose that would have been considered almost pornographic back when those were popular what with her being obviously bare-breasted etc.

I know I'm a late-comer but don't see anybody mentioning;

a geggie - cart where the axle was a flattened tin can
kerbie - throwing a ball to bounce back from the other kerb
boattley(spelling ?) - like conkers/chessies but with glass bottles from the midgie bins (maybe just shettleston then?)
nail & thread pictures - like still game opening credits

Bogies was mentioned ...
Seen weans playing Kurby doon the back end of Chester st a few weeks back boatly is now an olympic sport and still gets played most weekends by young chaps in top of the range sports gear most saturday nights

Ha, speaking of Chester Street. Thats where i was born (well belvidere but we lived in South Chester Street).

The close next to the Marquis side door. Ground floor and an outside lavvy - no fun going out there wi a candle on a saucer and a breid knife to jemmy the door. you never knew who/what you'd find . . . and i was only a wean. left there for the countryside of greenfield when i was 9.

Good god !!crossbows made with some wood and rubber bands, I Remember them well ,I heard of someone hammering a short nail into the clothes peg and shooting a boy in the head with it ,he needed stitches , nowadays wee eck Salmond ,and his cronies would try and ban them.
