Cracking find. I suppose that would have been considered almost pornographic back when those were popular what with her being obviously bare-breasted etc.
She doesn't look Spanish though. I wonder if there ever was an original model. _________________ Oh no, said Thomas, I sound like an out of work Beatle |

I know I'm a late-comer but don't see anybody mentioning;
a geggie - cart where the axle was a flattened tin can
kerbie - throwing a ball to bounce back from the other kerb
boattley(spelling ?) - like conkers/chessies but with glass bottles from the midgie bins (maybe just shettleston then?)
nail & thread pictures - like still game opening credits
cheers for the rest, _________________ Any pickled eggs? |

Ha, speaking of Chester Street. Thats where i was born (well belvidere but we lived in South Chester Street).
The close next to the Marquis side door. Ground floor and an outside lavvy - no fun going out there wi a candle on a saucer and a breid knife to jemmy the door. you never knew who/what you'd find . . . and i was only a wean. left there for the countryside of greenfield when i was 9. _________________ Any pickled eggs? |
