Let's try again:-

As well as the sharp bend in the track, the Darnley Hospital chimney is a clue, and the hedgerow follows the line of the footpath that eventually crossed the railway via the bridge at Priesthill & Darnley station.

Mr. Underwood was on the right track (pardon the pun).

Jock: if you mean the buildings in the distance in the other photo, that's Leggatston Farm.

Hi again
That would make more sense but i don't remember it being that big.
It was a long time ago but i remember a farm on the scale of Parkhouse.
Do you have it on your map?

Afraid not, but you can just make it out in this well-known aerial photo:-

Hi Neilmc
Another cracker

Just a wee thing was browsing around & found this
http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=5373277637
some very familiar photos on there even one of my daughter.
If i could figure who to moan at i would complain that nobody asked if they could use it.

Thanks Jock, and well spotted with that bebo thing.

I counted five of my photos on that person's page, and Alex's album has been plundered to an even greater extent.

I've also seen my photos turn up on Friends Reunited, and a Paisley punk scene website!

I'm not particularly concerned about my photos, but I note that you've quite rightly sent a strong message to the person concerned re: your daughter's pic - keep an eye on them.

Hi Neilmc & all

I agree, i would be happy and even a wee bit honored to share most photos.
But that one i thought awhile about before posting on here, just because ther's another person involved.
For someone just take it and use it without even asking was a bit of a shock.
We will see if i get any word back on this.

Sorry been busy for a couple of weeks.

I don't mind people using my photos but as has been said it is the fact that they don't ask. There are a few sites with the photos I have on here and on my photobucket account that have appeared ona number of these kind of sites. One has even had the cheek to watermark any photo posted by their members. I emailed them explaining that they don't have the right to do this but they are still doing it. They did warn members that they should at all times have permission to use photos they post to the site.

Hope to get access to some photos of the South Nitshill Gala from about 1986 till 1999. I am sure when I post them they will be grabbed by a few people who may appear in them. If anybody does take photos it would be great if they could at the very least acknowledge where they got the photos.
