Where,when and how did you know Billy Billings??
Basically he wasn't a bad sort. He just loved the hills. He was one of thosre along with the likes of Tom Weir who went up to the fie at Craigallion. He knew them all. Yet he spent most of his life away from the hills and only went back when he met up with BB and myself.
He was the most pigheaded clumsiest person you'd ever meet . A hole to fall down, stone to trip over, a gate or fence to fall . He would surely find it.
There are many tales of Billy and his misdventures.........
