Aye mate we were talking about it in another thread so I thought I would give it it's own wee place on the forum.

The addendum was a real eye opener on the workings of the federal reserve and the fractional banking method... money=debt, debt=money

Wothless bits of paper

Which got me thinking about the UK notes.... although Scottish bank notes arent legal tender, they are back by assests being held with the Bank of England to the value of whats in circulation. Does this mean scottish money is actually worth something because there is backing too it?
