Wasteland in TownheadWhen out taking some past presents last week I noticed this bit of derelict ground just south of where Parly road would have been..looks as if it has been like this for years..thought it might be an old school playground or the like..any ideas

Hi Kev.
The first pic was the site of a single storey wooden framed building. The second
pic had a 2 or 3 storey 50s built (?) flat roofed building. They were both part of
the former Allan Glens School, and were both demolished, IIRC around 1998.
There was talk of flats on the site but nothing has happened.
