LG - Beer Cafe is hardly a wine bar. 
I don't mind it. West is good as well but it's a bit pricey.

I have yet to feel comfortable in any Merchant City boozer..... All I need now is for Mrs Goover to go to work that night & I am free to play ! |

Yes a nice wee night. Always nice to be in company where no one is up themselves. I found the post-natal discussion especially therapeutic. But I must admit that the main thing for me was the discussion a couple of us had about the UK Cold War network and what we could maybe do about it on Urban Glasgow.
... and OH the scary Scotia for next time! I'd love it if we could form safety in numbers so that I can work up the nerve to go there again

Any where is good that doesn't have a Beer Menu ! Or think it is reasonable to charge upto $4.80 a pint !
Scotias great fun, not much chance of a conversation on a friday night though it gets very crowded and noisy. How about one of those nice 8am pubs like the Tollbooth - a morning pint !

That`s about right James, what a difference the pool hall is to the bar, does the Scotia really need the sh!t upstairs ?? It always puts me off going there. I was in there in 1990 really mad with it and I saw Billy Connolly...well I saw 3 or 4 Billy Connolly`s
