From what I remember of it the strongest characters were played by Richard Wilson (Eddie Clockerty) and Katy Murphy who played his torn faced secretary (Miss Toner) as they had most of the best gags.
It was a pretty lightweight comedy I just watched it to see if I could recognise bits of Glasgow just like I did with Taggart. |

I never watched it when it was on so I've never even seen it. The reason it isn't on video or DVD is the BBC would have to pay royalties for the use of the music in it. Various shows on DVD have had music changed and/or scenes cut out for the same reason - Still Game, The Young Ones, Filthy Rich & Catflap, etc... James H |
