I took my driving test round there ....
In 1987 jeezo that seems like such a long time ago now.
Totally fecked up the emergency stop when a wee dug saved my bacon and ran out between two cars...

Still knock about here sometimes through my job though usually only as the direct route to Barrhead from Shawlands.

The clock i keep meaning to stop at and have a closer look but always seem to be later than i should be.

There is a plaque in the road just infront of that clock but is usually covered by a car. Some wee old lady told me about it one day and its basically part of an old town hall (I think thats what she said)

Hi All
I remember going to the baths.
Spending our bus fare and walking back to South Nitshill.
Cutting across the Kennishead rd before the new road at Darnley was put in.

Hi Stu
Its the townhouse tower. I read it was a much bigger building but only the tower was saved.

Hi All
You know how i like photo's of me
Here's one of me & my big sis on the steps of our tenement in Greenview st.
Taken around 1959/60  must have been just before we got moved out.
I have looked at this photo 100's of times but never noticed the ghost on the right, till i scanned it to put it here.
