The Andrew Charles Paul CollectionAndrew Charles Paul
When Andrew Paul retired, his camera took him to the places that he’d never had time to record before. Wandering around Glasgow with his lens catching whatever his eye saw, he was an original ‘urban explorer’ before the ‘Internet’ caught on.
He photographed for his own pleasure, never thinking that his hobby would be available here for us all to appreciate. Although Andrew's family shared in his joy of taking photos no one else has seen the photos displayed here.
So for the first time, thanks to his family, we are able to view a small portion of the photographs that Andrew had amassed over the years.
We thought that his photographs would be a fitting addition to the Urban Glasgow Collection. Let’s hope they generate the type of discussion that would have been appreciated by Andrew Charles Paul, an Urban Glasgow Explorer.
These photos were taken between 1992-93.
