On the banks of the Clyde

All along its route there is lots to see and hopefully photograph.

Please feel free to post any of your photos of the Clyde either from the bank or other vantage point. Up stream or down, left or right bank, quay wall or walkway. Any buildings along the Clyde's banks or sections where rivers, streams or burns enter the Clyde.

Although try to avoid posting photos of bridges here as there is a thread dedicated to this subject already.

Fopp were selling a five disk set including Just Another Saturday for £4.00

Govan dry dock...wouldn,t recommend going in there as there were a few shady looking dudes in the vicinity and its a bit isolated.

Been there a few times... most of the people hanging around are there for the pigeons in the coop. Best go in numbers and even better still, go early morning

Aye Stu   i seen the doocot/pidgeon loft and must say never felt threatened but could see it could be quite a strange place to some people
Me..I served an apprenticship in Govan shipbuilders from 1977 to 1981....as a caulker burner /boilermaker and remember going there with a ship that was to be fitted out about 79...so wish I had been into photography then cause I have so many pics in my head of the yard...
