Thanks WM

I forgot I had these photos. I have just put all my photos on an external hard drive and getting them organised. I notice the sky when I opened up the file.

The Rowardennan war memorial.... a strange monument I find a tad creepy and sinister

Loch Lomond, it was so quite

Great pics. That memorial is odd indeed - more like something out of Stargate.

Loved the two HDR shots of the Loch - very nice.

And the one of the log on the water's edge is stunning.
wee minx

Thanks digitographer ...
Edit....I think you mean Zolitas HDR...yip they are crackers
Digitographer

LOL Oops, yes I did. I was at Loch Lomond in the summer (although it was freezing!) and none of my pics were as good as those posted. I'd have been happy to have taken any of those posted - very nice indeed. And I loved the low shooting angle of some of them.

Hi all

At first my wee grandson would not go near the cross. When i asked him what was wrong. He asked me is that's where Jesus is buried?

Keeping a straight face i explained no and anyway Jesus was good and would not hurt him.
After that he was happy to have this photo taken.

There wasn't mush to see the beach on your side of the fence is a lot better We had to go out the front in order to access the beach.

I was just saying to myself that looks like ti was taken from Balmaha before I read the text.

Used to go camping up that way.

Last time I passed this place was up for sale, so probably gone now...

Fjord

Glendarroch Tearoom

Took this pic in October 1992 heading up the A82 at Luss

Then I spotted the Glendarroch Tearoom of parochial pish TV drama Take the Highroad fame. I suspect it was one of those places infested with pensioners 7 days a week discussing their haemorrhoids and the price of eggs.

That "Take The High Road" Fjord

Mrs Mack and the woman from the corner shop who is in River City

What about that guy Snedden  He was a bit of a character

Fjord

It begs the question who or what was Inverdarroch? - was it animal, vegetable, mineral or all three?
Alex Glass

He was definitely animal who liked his minerals and grew his own vegetables
