HMS Daring To Leave The ClydeHMS Daring will leave the Clyde for the final time this Friday (16th January), as she departs Scotstoun and makes her way to her new home port of Portsmouth.She is due to cast off from the Deep Water Berth at approximately 12.20pm. Good feature on HMS Daring today in the tatty, freebbie Metro newspaper, page 7 (but you may have to register to view online). It’s about her first day of service in home port Plymouth and about how this Clyde built ship is just about the technically most advanced destroyer in the world right now.
