Hidden GardensOn Saturday 10 May Rachel Mimiec, the Hidden Gardens' first Artist in
Residence, will celebrate the culmination of her work with the launch of
an exhibition in Tramway's new gallery space.
Her exhibition, called Looking In, Looking Out, is a reflection of her
time spent in the Gardens. Rachel's installation links the gallery to
the garden and looks at the relationship between artist and nature,
presenting nature's view of a 'new creature' that has built a habitat in
her garden.
The exhibition runs from Saturday May 10th to Sunday 25th May in
Tramway 5 and is open to the public free of charge, as follows: Tue - Fri
10am - 5pm, Sat & Sun 12 noon - 5pm. Closed Mondays.
On Sunday 25th May at 2pm Rachel will be giving a talk about her work.
Entrance is free and all are welcome.
The Artist in Residence has been made possible by the support of The
Scottish Arts Council Partners Scheme, Scottish Community Foundation,
BAA, the Binks Trust and Tramway.
