Glasgow's Industrial PastGlasgow has a long history as the industrial heart of Scotland and is one of the reasons why it was referred to as the Second City of the Empire.
Does anyone have any photos of some of the factories or other buildings that provided work and brought such fame to Glasgow.
Ship Building
Trains
Steel
Fabrics
Etc

Stobcross CraneI took this after the Garden Festival and there was still a fair bit of the dockside railway track on the quayside. I just wish I had paid more attention and captured the area around the General Terminus before it was demolished and landscaped.

what you mean is it's sh!t
|
Alex Glass
|
Indeed no
It is just that if you look at photos processed in the eighties they have a special look and you can see it in your photo. Compare it to a digital photo and you will see what I mean.
I have loads of photos from that time and you can practically date them from the use of colour

Haha I know exactly what you mean you'd pay good money these days for a photoshop plugin to get your photo's looking that bad
