One of the ballons from that day landed in front of my brothers flat. He was stoned and thought it was a spaceship coming to get him.

BalloonsI remember having a great day out,the weather,as can be seen, was not typical Glasgow.The guys who fly these things were very approachable,especially when you were taking pictures of their balloon.

Looks like none of the pictures are there any more. Just the photobucket logo saying they are moved or deleted. Was this the balloon festival in 1990 where the had a 235 ft high parrot balloon ?

There you go, chaps. It was a Saturday evening in August 1990. The balloons went right over my house. The cross in the second one belongs to Holy Cross in Dixon Ave.
