Trust you to go on the only day they actually have water running through that damn fountain.

Always loved this little piece of tranquility hidden away in Princes Street

I pass that big map of the tram layout every day  In the city chambers square and cant help but think Big waste of cash.
Taxi Drivers Refer to it now as The Roadworks Map...
They have a point.

Some crackers of the castle all the same Alex... I await the Day all those seats come crashing down the hill as the look precariously perched !
Alex Glass

Tried to make up a video of the photos I have of the Tattoo.

Still need to work on improving the quality.

Stuball

What are you using to create your videos?
Alex Glass

Ulead and converting to WMV

Where am I going wrong
Stuball

Never used ulead.... if you are using super to convert the file, have you tried turning the res up to something like 640x480?

It pains me to admit it, but Windows Movie Maker does the job and produces good quality wmv files. I used it for the demolition shots and uploaded them straight to flickr without hitch
Alex Glass

Should I use my jpeg photos or should these be converted to bitmap

When I was using Ulead to make DVDs this was the only way I could complete the process
Stuball

Shouldnt really make a difference.... bmp files are alot bigger than jpeg but you should be able to keep the same res

Edinburgh Trams Project, Waverley & More From Yesterday

Hi all. I was in company of a friend yesterday and we decided to spend the entire day down in the city of Edinburgh. It gave me a chance to capture update photographs of the Edinburgh Trams Project and much more which is explained and linked to below.

Edinburgh Trams Project - Heavy construction work is taking place right the way along Princes Street with tram rail already laid which will be on going process over the next few weeks by the looks of things with lots of road digging also. Photographs with captions and the entire project collection can be found in the link below

Once again Jonno, you've started a new thread when there was a relevant thread already there. It's not a subject worth a new thread. Please be mindful and check for other threads first
jonno22

Ok Stuball, cheers. I obviously didn't look hard enough

Best Regards
