There has been a few ambitious plans like building 21 flats within the walls and 7 within the manse... although they'd be thumble size.
Plans for demolition were rejected for some reason too

It is.... even sticking the edges has its dangers. The entire centre of the floor is a no-go and the spire isnt accessable

Is this the one behind the time capsule Stu ?
If so there is a nesting pair of Kestrels in the spire or it might be a different bird of prey that was why everything ground to a halt.
The plan for flats as far as i was aware was still on the cards but financial situations have changed what was meant to happen and the council thought 21 flats was a no go as it meant an extension to the existing building to accomodate them all.
Very Brave Inside shots though...
