Building Query.

I was in town this morning and I passed the building just past the cross at the Bridgegate, Gorbals Street and Clyde street .. this one ..

.. the building with the roof that comprises of wrought iron and large glass sections.

My old Pop (I was taking him out for lunch) struggled to remember what the building used to be used for years ago and I was wondering does anyone know?

Fish Market?

Not sure James .. Pop says he doesn't think so and the frontage looks too official for it to have been a humble fish market.

Scary

I`m sure that`s the ill fated " Briggait" DS.

Edit* Just googled it, it`s The Briggait. http://www.scottisharchitecture.com/article/view/The+Briggait

The Briggait, a former Victorian fish market

Remember Doorstop, the Victorians did things with style...
