I was in Glasgow not for the Armed Forces day though, but I heard the helicopter and went along to George square to see a bit of it.
I was a bit late for most of it and couldn't see anything really. However, got a few pics for you to see and also some of what I heard from onlookers about what was the end of an IRA sympathisers protest, out of the blue and no one was prepared for it apparently.
Anyway, the Police were getting shredded by the public for not dealing with it speedily and I had heard that a mob had run from the George Square to chase the IRA sympathisers and a fight broke out.
Heated arguments between police and some groups were happening as I was there..I have to admit that the police were being goaded by these groups , whoever they were, and tempers were flaring.

Looks like i missed all the trouble being through in the capital.
Although it was bloody drizzling all day.
Even the bears made it....
And it was a great turn out.
Even wee Alex made it.

Lol maybe he was misrepresenting the new law where it is a crime to photograph any member of the police or armed forces going about their job.
Seen them giving the third degree to a boy in Edinburgh and to quote him.
"You better huv an awfy big polis station then ya p****"
as he pointed to about a thousand other people doing the same thing.
