Any abandoned Schools?Hi, I'm new to this forum, and fairly new to Glasgow and am interested in finding some cool sites to explore.Does anyone know of any old school buildings that are completely abandoned? I have wanted to find one for ages. Cheers, |

There is quite a few of them around the city but we can't really advertise them publicly on a forum, especially if you intend on entering any of them.

Dont know if it will help but two I know are London Rd school Parkhead and Dalmarnock School bridgeton. | ||||||||

I am sure if you look you will find lots but as Stu said it wouldn't be appropriate to signpost on here or actively encourage anyone to risk their own Health and Safety by entering buildings which may not he safe. |

They were using that as a police base on match days for a while dont know if they still do. |

Golfhill Primary School in Dennistoun is no longer used due to subsidence. Apparently the entire building is listing to the side - the last time I was in (when it was still open; haven't been in since it closed), parts of the ceilings had netting up to catch any possible falling masonry.
Maybe not the best place for a scout, but it's there all the same. The janitor/caretaker (I think) still lives on the grounds; there's a wee house in the playground that is in use. |

It was about 3 years ago Cybers 
We also got lots of photos of Ruchazie PS before it was empty and now demolished. I did try to get a team together to document the many empty school but didn't get any volunteers. Could still try this if anyone was up for it

I must have missed that as i would be up for doing that. I have a load of exterior pics of McGill school pre demo, but didn`t manage to get inside.
