No, not the things that go bang, whizz - I'm trying to research my Family, and in the 1851 Census my Great Grandma is shown as residing at the following address: Fireworks White House, Fireworks, Lanarks - in the Parish of Govan - having looked a various area maps of Glasgow I cannot find "Fireworks", any help for a sassenach of Irish/Scots birthright would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi Bartmac
Fire-works you my be looking for a an area of a works with a forge or kiln.
Have you tried working back from the census page. The previous pages may give a street address, That may narrow down the area of your search.
I did this on a similar prob with my family on http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
