Thought I'd share these pics of Glasgows St Andrews Halls with you all.

The main concert hall was reknowned the world over for it's remarkable acoustic qualities. Good photographs of the auditorium are rare but the one below is the best I've seen.

Sadly Glasgow lost this remarkable concert hall on 26 October 1962 when a fire broke out after a boxing match. The devastation the following day is only too clear from the pictures. Only the frontage survives as the extension to the Mitchell Library.
