Does anyone have photos of Linthaugh  Road Pollock circa 1960 to about 1975 , and the surrounding areas ,my Gran lived there from 1950 to 1970 , I loved the place as a child, and was sad to see that it had changed so much  BILLYCAN

In this high-res picture from the early 60's, the roundabout at the far right is the start of Linthaugh Road with Braidcraft Road in the foreground and Corkerhill Road heading away from the roundabout into the distance.

One thing intriguing me is St James`s Church, the info I have is it was built in 1953 and in your hi-res pic it`s incomplete, so that puts your pic in the early 50`s.

Circled in middle left here

Could well be Scary.  Billycan reckons it's earlier as well so it probably is.
