Nelson St, south side west of Commerce St. There are photos in VM (under Commerce St) showing the rear of this house, before the adjoining tenement was cut down. Also one of the Kingston UF church from the rear. July 1975

West St, east side south of Kingston St. The 5 storey building was a grain store (1887). The tower in the distance (1896) belonged to the Victoria Grain Mills, another of the few old buildings in the area spared demolition. June 1975

Paterson St and Morrison St. Between 1872 and 1893 the SCWS built three massive and lavishly designed (as usual, by Bruce and Hay) warehouse blocks on the south side of Morrison St, two of which, the central and west, have been preserved as offices and apartments. This eastern building, between Paterson, Wallace and Laidlaw Sts, has been replaced by a modern apartment block. December 1975
