Hi all. Lets Kick off the start of the abandoned and disused railways galleries with this:
ABANDONED AND DISUSED RAILWAYS: Clydebank Riverside Station & Dalmuir Riverside Station & Branch Photographs:
http://jonathanmcgurk.fotopic.net/c1731074.html
The gallery contains 63 photographs all taken on 30th April 2009 and shows the remains of the former Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire railway line that ran from Dalmuir Riverside to Clydebank Central Junction and onwards to Yoker Ferry. Photographs also include the old station building that was once known as Clydebank Riverside station which is a listed building so therefore not allowed to be touched e.g. demolished. The stations exterior remains fully in tact and the interior has been turned into houses. I will add a full commentary box and captions to the gallery tonight.
